the perfect wedding

I'm doing some research for a paper on marriage and problems that can cause divorce.

While researching I found this adorable picture of some newlyweds in front of a Cinderella mural in Arizona.

Isn't it beautiful?

P.S. One of the issues that cause divorce is when couples make a bigger deal of the wedding than being a good spouse while dating/engaged... Oops.

Unfortunately, in our wedding-idolized society, we focus so much on getting the perfect dress, perfect food, perfect venue, perfect music we forget that we have some heart issues we should work through to become the best husband or wife we can be.

Yes, a wedding day should be fun but it should be more about symbolizing that you are committing to this person for the rest of your life. It's not just a time to dance; it's a big deal.

Do you think we focus too much on the wedding day and not the marriage? How can we counteract this way of thinking? Isn't this picture the cutest thing you have ever seen?
